Day 3: Lebanon Border

After lunch we traveled to the very northern border of Israel on the coast to a place called Rosh Hanikra, which is Hebrew for grotto. There are some pretty amazing natural grottoes made in the lime stone. It is also a place where man made tunnels were dug and for a time a train ran through these tunnels...until of course, they were blown up during a conflict...go figure!:)

Anyway, there is a really cool cable car ride we got to take and then we got to explore these underground grottoes! The pictures just don't do it justice! Really beautiful...you can check out more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosh_HaNikra_grottoes

Rosh Hanikra is right on the border of Israel and Lebanon and you can feel the tension, although there really isn't anything close by this particular border check...the uprising of a few days ago too place at another border...thanks for your prayers!:)

We then headed back to Nazareth where the rest of the group spent the day at our hotel chillaxing at the spa and pool...really a nice hotel, but I am glad I went on the excursion!

That evening we had a great dinner and some lounge entertainment as you can see on the video!:)

Tomorrow...to Nazareth...and beyond!!!
